BSHS 1985 Head Girl - Andrea Le Guier

When asked to write for the Kingia, I was lost for words. After a little thought I realised that there were a hundred and one, or more, things that could be said about the role of Senior Girl at B.S.H.S. in 1985.

I soon learnt that the title was merely that and it was a team effort, and the support of that team has made my job an enjoyable one.

The team I refer to is that of the Prefects and being one of them has been a rewarding and unforgettable experience.

In my position one learns responsibility, gains a sense of achievement when objectives are fulfilled and enjoys the organisation of social events, as well as participation therein.
With the final exam approaching, my days at B.S.H.S. are numbered. 1986 will be a year of many challenges and obstacles but these will be made easier by the background provided by both staff and students of B.S.H.S.

Having worked with the Prefects along with Mr. Dymock and Miss Pries is something which I will always look upon with fond memories. I would like to thank them all for their support as they have made 1985 a year to remember.
