Atkinson’s Butchery & Stockyard 2001
2001Photograph of the Anstey Street, Mundijong, property of Mr H W Atkinson, butcher, which burnt down in 1945. Mr Atkinson had closed the shop and left to visit his sick son in Armadale.A strong easterly wind was blowing at the time which quickly spread the fire from the shop to the residency.A new butcher's shop was built of brick on Paterson Street, Mundijong.
