GENERAL EMBROIDERY, CAP
A rarely seen Scottish Gentleman’s embroidered smoking cap. Became unfashionable by c. 1920. The black silk cap lined with quilted silk is decorated with chenille couching into leaf and flower motifs to the sides with three motifs on top. Generic leaf and sprigs are random. There are places where pattern markings are visible.
