Historical information

The 1977 Silver Jubilee Exhibition Train was a special train that toured Australia in honor of Queen Elizabeth II's 25th year as British monarch. The train showcased over 700 years of British history and featured items from the Royal Family collection, including artworks, photographs, and weaponry. It traveled 11,250 kilometers across Australia, visiting 26 locations and bringing the story of the monarchy directly to communities. The train's journey included ceremonial events and was a significant part of the Jubilee celebrations.
