PHOTOGRAPH: SUBIACO FLYING CLUB PICNIC
c. 1920 - 1929The black and white image shows a group of men and women in front of an aeroplane with others forming a semi-circle around the plane, looking on. A small boy at the very front left-hand side looks directly into the camera. The aeroplane has a single propeller at the front and the double wings of a bi-plane. The women in the group directly in front of the aeroplane are all dressed in white and wear cloche hats.
Two original photographs exist of the same image, one larger than the other. A further large copy of the photograph is stored in Box N.
