PHOTOGRAPH: SUBIACO FLYING CLUB PICNIC

The black and white image shows a group of men and women in front of an aeroplane with others forming a semi-circle around the plane, looking on. A small boy at the very front left-hand side looks directly into the camera. The aeroplane has a single propeller at the front and the double wings of a bi-plane. The women in the group directly in front of the aeroplane are all dressed in white and wear cloche hats.
