Historical information

Display board with photo states 'Mrs James McCullough, nee Mabel Balding, on her wedding day in 1943. Mabel was the daughter of Gerald Balding who established a Building & Joinery business in Onslow Road, Shenton Park, in the early 1920's, shifting later to Railway Road opposite the West Subiaco station. Mabel taught Elocution and Art of Speech from her home in Herbert Road and was an active member of the Repertory & Shakespeare Clubs'
