A corrugated iron awning is erected over the windows in the front room with a decorative timber edging. There is a high brick front wall with the number '97' above the letter box opening. The projecting front room has a gable with a ventilator in the centre. The corrugated iron verandah is supported by wooden posts and simple 'spindle' ornamentation.
