POSTCARD: FIRST WORK BY 'THE UGLY MEN' COMMITTEE

Overview

The black and white photograph was taken at Robinson Street. It features a group of men and women taking tea, some holding tea-cups, some holding plates of cakes. All assembled are wearing hats. A child at the front is holding a ball and missing a front tooth.

Reverse: Handwritten inscription on back of the photograph, which was taken at the back of the house.

'Note on Rotary International Card says 'Taken September 1, 1917 at Robinson Street, Subiaco. First work by 'the Ugly Men' Committee in Subiaco'.
