Commemorative Plate for Lord and Lady Baden-Powell
c. 1931A decadon plate with a gold rim and pale yellow edging. At the top of the plate are two brown pictures, the one on the left is of a man wearing a Scout hat, the other is of a woman wearing a broad rimmed hat. At the bottom of the plate is a wreath and writing inside the wreath
Purchased in 1931 by Noel McDonald of Katanning Troop 72, given to his younger brother, John McDonald. Later passed to their sister Mrs Crystal Hobbs.

Underneath the picture of the man in brown lettering is "CHIEF SCOUT OF THE WORLD." and underneath the woman is "CHIEF GUIDE OF THE WORLD."
Inside the wreath at the bottom of the plate in brown lettering is "TO COMMEMORATE THE VISIT TO WESTERN AUSTRLIAN OF LORD and LADY BADEN-POWELL APRIL 1931"
On the back of the plate is a brown circle which has a ribbon scroll across the centre and brown lettering. Above the circle is "ROYAL WINTON" and below the circle is "STOKE ON TRENT ENGLAND". Across the ribbon scroll is "GRIMWADES".
