When his father emigrated to the States in 1858 Henry remained in the Netherlands where he and his brother Julius established Becker's Sons in Rotterdam and Delft, Holland and H.L. The label indicates on these scales states they were made in "Bruxelles en France" . These scales could have been made in the late 19th century.
