Overview

A good example of combined ribbon and embroidery, typical of work done in the 1980s. This is a highly romanticized garden scene, with central arching metallic pedistal with a bowl of roses, 2 bees and a metal butterfly. The arches are wisteria and roses, beds of flowers are hollyhocks, delphiniums, daiseys and flowers and leaves around the top edge.
