RAISED WORK, ELIZABETHAN, PICTURE
A raised technique popular in the 1990s and 2000s which was most often done in workshops with notes supplied. This picture of is a woodland nymph.
It is a female face crowned by an arrangement of flowers, fruits, leaves and a bee in a variety of colours. She wears a pearl necklace and has beaded centres to each flower and metallic thread in the leaves. She is outlined in a tan colour and has green eyes.
