William Grover and his mother Bridget Grover nee Noonan

The Grover family were settlers in Katanning from 1886, William Grover came as a police trooper to Police Pools, and settled on 'Indinup' farm in 1886. Bridget Grover nee Noonan was the second daughter of William and Eleanor Noonan of Kojonup. William Noonan was an enrolled pensioner guard, and he and his family came to Western Australia in 1853. In 2002 the farm is owned by family members Wilson and Coleman.

Bridget Grover was the daughter of an William Noonan an enrolled pensioner guard, and in 2024 a large contingent of the descendants of William and Eleanor Noonan are still living in the districts of Kojonup and Katanning.
