Dance cards were used by ladies to list their partners for the evenings dances.

Details
On the front of the card is a blue oval and white lettering around the inside of the oval is 'DISTRICT & BUSH NURSING ASSOCN. INC'. Inside the oval is a blue shield and in white lettering on the shield is 'SILVER CHAIN'.
On the front of the card below the blue oval in red lettering is 'KATANNING Silver Chain BALL 25th JUNE 1953'
On the left inside of the card is a list of dances written in red lettering 'DANCE Quick Step, Valeta, Fox Trot, Barn Dance, Slow Fox Trot, Old Time Waltz, Gyspy Tap, Quick Step, Barn Dance, Waltz Oxford, Old Time Medley (Valeta, Old Time Waltz, Gay Gordons), Modern Waltz, Pride of Erin, Boston Two Step, Modern Medley-(Slow Fox Trot, Waltz, Quick Step), Gypsy Tap, Waltz-(Gentlemen's Excuse Me), Gay Gordons-(Ladie's Choice), Pride of Erin-(Flirtation), Waltz Oxford, Fox Trot-(Lucky Spot), Medley-(Quick Step and Last Waltz). There is also some pencil markings on the left hand side of the card, however it is not legible.
On the right inside of the card in red lettering is 'PARTNER' and space against each dance for the lady to write the name of their partner for each dance.
