MEN'S METROPOLITAN PENNANT SQUAD 1980

This photograph is believed to be the 1980 MGGC Men’s Metropolitan pennant squad.

Although the photograph is undated, the people featured are very similar to the 1979 pennant squad. (Item 2024.86 https://collectionswa.net.au/items/13334957-4f68-4589-adfa-3e3f225d802c) Captain Laurie Johnston (middle front row) appears in both pictures in the same clothing except that he is wearing different coloured shoes. Given that Laurie was Captain in 1979 and 80 it is therefore assumed that this is the 1980 squad photograph.
