Seletar Challenge Trophy

Seletar is a Singapore golf club with reciprocal playing rights with MGGC. The clubs have made several visits to each other.

This perpetual trophy records the results of matches held between the clubs during these visits. There are in fact two trophies; this one retained by MGGC, and another by Seletar Country Club. This arrangement was made to eliminate the need to transport a single trophy back and forward on flights between the two countries.

The trophy itself has a crimson-coloured wood-look, particle board structure that supports various plastic adornments. The adornments include:

- a mini trophy with a symbolic set of golf clubs and a No. 18 golf flag on the top

- a marble-look block supporting a wreath, symbolic person holding a picture of a driving wood behind a golf ball in the middle

- small golf balls mounted on either side of the base

- gold plates with winning clubs' names engraved on both the vertical wooden sides
