Inscriptions and markings

On the side of the photograph hand written is 'with love from Min'.
On the back of the handwritten in blue ink is 'MINNIE NORRISH married (Mr Len Walker.) who later became Judge WALKER.

Contextual Information

Minnie Norrish full name was Amelia Filemenar (or Philomena) Norrish, the daughter of John Norrish and Margaret Elleanor Noonan. Her father was the son of Corporal Richard Norrish of the 96th Regiment of Foot, her mother was the youngest daughter of William and Eleanor Noonan, William was a pensioner guard stationed at Kojonup in 1853. Amelia Norrish married James Leonard Walker in 1912, they had one daughter Muriel in 1916, and Amelia died in 1921.
