A sepia photograph of twelve men standing in front of a picket fence and a partly built house behind the fence. The photograph has a plain green cardboard mount. There are four men standing, two seated on chairs and six men seated on the ground. All the men have long shirts, hats and long trousers. Four of the men are smoking pipes. There is scaffolding which appears to be wooden.
