Overview

A coloured photo taken looking towards the front of a building that is in the stage of being demolished. On the left hand side of the building can be seen part of another building, the King George Hostel.

Historical information

The building had been constructed by the Piesse family and was owned by the family at the time of demolition in 1969. There was residential accommodation upstairs with commercial shops on the street front. The demolition of this building made a considerable difference to the street scape in Katanning.
