Historical information

Mrs Clara Rutherford was President of the Committee which raised funds and established 'Sunshine'.
Details of who donated this desk are not known, but from the inscription on the plaque, it would appear the desk was donated to CWA by either Clara Rutherford or her family as the engraving on the plaque says: In appreciation of services rendered to 'Sunshine' by the first Chairman Mrs CP Rutherford."
