She is carrying a bouquet with trailing greenery. Men are wearing dark suits, waistcoats and high collared shirts with flower in buttonhole. They are holding gloves. Groom? is wearing fob watch. Les Wearne on right, Blanche Horn née Little. Postcard.
Written on reverse 'To Mr and Mrs Jeffery/With compliments of the Season/from and & O Wearne'.

Historical information

Donation included newspaper clipping (copies) of Mr Wearne's courage in stopping a runaway tram after motorman was flung from his platform. 'Hollywood Grocer's Pluck' from 'The Mirror', March 6, 1937. Filed in Subiaco People file.
Information from Donor. Wedding of Oswald and Jess Wearne. Les Wearne of 152 York Street, Arthur Street and Nicholson Road. Blanche Horn nee Little of Gloster Street. John and Martha Wearne lived in York Street Subiaco.
