Overview

Clear glaze over white body pottery canister. Straight sided with serpentine front and back. On the front in bold black letters is 'SUGAR'. The lid is missing.
Base: The base has an unglazed foot with slight depression in the centre. The base has the Calyx brand mark of a black swan above a ribbon with 'CALYX' on it. The brand mark is well defined Calyx brand mark on base. The swan has 'grass' either side of it, and under the ribbon is 'PERTH W A'

Canisters were found at street verge collection, Shenton Park in 2013.
