PHOTOGRAPH: SUBIACO VAD WITH SOLDIERS OF 2ND LIGHT HORSE CAMP, ROCKINGHAM
c. 1940 - 1949The original black and white photograph features a group of soldiers, taken in front of a tent. Two VAD women sit on either side of the man in the centre of the front row. Four further women stand with the men in the second row. All the women wear nursing uniform. The name 'Eileen Fullerton' is handwritten on the back. The other women are: Helen Morrison. Florrie Ledger. Mrs Barker. Mary Mears. Mary Mears OBE was AVA in First and Second World Wars and later with Helen Morrison to India with the YWCA.
