Overview

Black and white image of two children leaning up against a concrete wall at the Humes site, Subiaco. The girl on the right is wearing a white dress and sandals, and the younger boy on the right is wearing a white shirt, shorts and shoes, and has his hands in his mouth.

To the left of the image is a battered, white coloured 44 gallon drum and a pair of black metal stands. A large diameter pipe runs along the top of the wall, and in the background to the left is there tile roof of a building.

Historical information

These photographs collected for 'Subiaco Industry' exhibition at the Museum 1998. Photographs collected from Humes, Subiaco, now at Welshpool and owned by CSR. Humes one of many industries which moved, or closed prior to Subi Centro development. See P99.52a,b
