PHOTOGRAPH: HUMES PIPE WITH CROSSBARS
c. 1950 - 1959Black and white image of the end of a large pipe with crossbars. The rim of the pipe has bolt holes in it, and there are two chains securing it to a roller with eight rubber tyres. 'RETURN TO HUMES' is written in white writing at the base of the pipe.
These photographs collected for 'Subiaco Industry' exhibition at the Museum 1998. Photographs collected from Humes, Subiaco, now at Welshpool and owned by CSR. Humes one of many industries which moved, or closed prior to Subi Centro development. See P99.52a,b.
