c. 1970Black and white image of two children standing at the Subiaco Humes site in front of rows of pipes stacked four-high. There are two large corrugated iron buildings in the background, one of which has ten ventilation chimneys. The end of a second stack of wrapped pipes can be seen to the left of the image. The children are standing on a small concrete wall in front of the pipes, and are the same subjects as those in 1999.261.1.
These photographs collected for 'Subiaco Industry' exhibition at the Museum 1998. Photographs collected from Humes, Subiaco, now at Welshpool and owned by CSR. Humes one of many industries which moved, or closed prior to Subi Centro development. See P99.52a,b.
