Historical information

146-8 George Road now Victoria Avenue. Land was originally auctioned as Lots 13 and 14 Swan Loc. 504 Plan 1678 October 19 1905 for a 5 pounds deposit. In 1909 lots were bought in Mrs A Middleton's name. A nearby house was rented while this house was built in time for arrival of daught Marion Gertrude (Bid). Tank stand built high for pressure. Jolly, who looked after horses and outside chores lived under tank stand.
