Historical information

Elderly man is thought to be PA. Gugeri, the woman probably his daughter Cecilia, known as 'Tuppy', with her husband, Henri Otto de Grancy and two children, Yvonne and Raoul Otto de Grancy. Claremont Pier was an alternate name used in the press, on postcards, and by some locals in the early 1900s even though the gazetted name was the Claremont Jetty.
