Source Mick Moore thinks foreman is Frank Wheel, who was known as 'Hubcap' which he didn't like. Written in blue ink on reverse: 1978 Donnybrook/Foreman Bert Steel with the 3 workers since its conception/Vic Reeves/Geoff Buswell/Frank Wheel.

Historical information

These photographs collected for 'Subiaco Industry' exhibition at the Museum 1998. Photographs collected from Humes, Subiaco, now at Welshpool and owned by CSR. Humes was one of many industries which moved, or closed prior to Subi Centro development. See P99.52a,b
