PHOTOGRAPH: THOMAS VIVIAN'S PLUMBING WORKS
1932Building of Mr Vivian, plumber and sheet metal worker, at 143 Rokeby Road. The shop front is almost entirely obscured by a truck full of canoes, some leaning against the corrugated iron bull-nosed verandah. Four other canoes are displayed in a stand one above the other. Two children are seated in bottom canoe. The little girl is Vida Dearle (nee Vivian), donor of this photograph. Her father, Graham Vivian passed away in October 1991, aged 103. Written in ink on reverse year December 1932 Xmas 1932
