SCORECARD - MEN & WOMEN CIRC 1976

This scorecard is for both "Members" (Men) and "Associates" (Women). It has been determined as being applicable in circa 1976.

The card has "R. Martin" (Roma or Russell?) hand-written as the player.

In general, the card layout is similar to Item 2020.142.

Features that make it different and assist in determining its date of applicability:

• The card is printed in olive green text but with yellow and red background on an off white, gloss finish background.
• Leeming is listed as the club's address. Research suggests that this change occurred approximately 1976/1977.
• The card had been printed by Porter & Salmon (a club sponsor via Ray Scott).
• The handicap conversion table has just two columns - earlier cards used separate columns for stroke, bogey or par and stableford competitions.
• The golf event name 'Par' replaced 'Bogey' as identified in the handicap reduction table on the rear of the card.
• Another sample of this card has a hand-written date of 12/1/77
• All subsequent cards use the Par event name.
