On top of the cake in icing is "Happy Birthday Katanning 100 years", and on the side of the cake is a white label with black printing "PRESENTED BY THE NATIONAL AUSTRALIA", then a red star and then "BANK" and underneath in white is "Together".

On the back of the photograph handwritten in black texta is ("Wally cutting Centenary cake Ktg".
