Historical information

Glengarry, to the east of Geraldton was one of the first pastoral properties taken up in the mid west region of Western Australia. By the time this letter was written, management had transferred from Thomas Brown to two of his sons, Kenneth and Maitland Brown.
William Cant (1819-1921) worked as a carter at Glengarry.
The letter was entered by William Adlam, storekeeper for John S. Maley at Greenough.
