A circular medal with a ribbon with all colours of the prism. On the front of the medal is a winged figure of Victory holding a palm leaf.

Historical information

Pte. William Henry Claude Pemble died of Broncho Pneumonia and is buried in St. Sever Cemetery Rouen, France.

Inscriptions and markings

On the back of the medal is embossed with a wreath and inside the wreath is the inscription "THE GREAT WAR FOR CIVILISATION 1914-1918".

On the rim of the medal is engraved "4242 PTE.W.H.C. PEMBLE 16 BN. A.I.F."
