Western Australia Fire Brigades dress uniform of Percy Stanley (Jock) Holgate a member of the Busselton Volunteer Fire Brigade. Recognised on 20th March 2021 for 80 years voluntary service to the Fire Brigade 1941 - 2021.

Details
Percy Stanley (Jock) Holgate first joined Wagin Volunteer Fire Brigade (VFB) in 1940, transferring to Busselton VFB in 1941. He followed in his father's footsteps after his father joined the Busselton VFB in 1914, where he served for a number of years as Captain and went on to become a life member in 1954. Jock was also made a life member of the Busselton VFB in 1962.
Jock was a recipient of the Queens Medal in 1972 and the Australian Fire Service Medal (AFSM) in 1989. Jock held the positions including Secretary, Trasurer, Active Firefighter and Reserve (life member) during his time with thwe Busselton VFB.
Jock was also one of the longest serving members of the Association Executive having served from October 1956 (representing the South West Zone) and retiring 33 years later in 1989. Jock held the position of Secretary of the South West Zone between 1963-1990 and was made a life member of the Zone in 1962. 1966, jock occupied the position of Chairman of the Finance Committee of the WA Volunteer Fire Brigade Association, where he also attained life membership in 1979.
