Promissory note from Henry Eves

The writer of this note, Henry Eves (1830-81) was a farmer at Greenough.
Frederick Fereday (1836-99) was convict no.6294 and worked as a stockman.
James Pager (1826-94) was also a former convict (no.4409). At the time this note was written, he was working as a baker in Northampton.
