GENERAL MEETINGS 1972

Two General Meetings were held in 1972.

The proceedings of the Annual General Meeting on 24th February included:

• Appointment and Election of Office Bearers and Councillors
• Various general discussion including juniors, reticulation, bunker sand and dress

The proceedings of the Semi Annual General Meeting on 24th August included:

• A Motion to change to the constitution to include the Vice Captain as one of the offices requiring member nominations for appointment was approved
• Life membership was conferred to M. Day and V. E. Bennett
• Management reports including the approval for major reticulation improvements
• Various general business including clubhouse extensions, the council tip’s potential pollution of the club’s domestic water supply, LGU Country Week
