Overview

This attractive table centre, exotic in appearance, was an example of trading products from the Middle East or bought by tourists visiting there.
Black wool fabric has scrolling design worked in two shades of gold and white silk thread.
Design - a circle 210mm diameter in centre has a motif in centre - possibly symbolic.
Around this are alternating motifs in 2 different designs creating a scalloped edge.
Beyond this, in each corner a scrolled motif.
