1988 Souvenir pennant from the World Youth Baseball Championships - Sydney, Australia
A souvenir pennant from the 1988 World Youth Baseball Championships held in Sydney, Australia. The screen-printed, white fabric pennant bears the logo of the Australian Baseball Federation in green, gold, black and white, as well as the dates, location and name of the competition. A rod is threaded through the top edge and a dark green, fringed braid is stitched to the bottom edge.

This pennant was donated to the Baseball WA Museum & Archives by the family of Alan Luscombe. Alan's career as a baseball umpire spanned local, state, national and international competition levels. He was awarded Life Membership of the West Australian Baseball Umpires Association (WABUA) in 1992.
