TEE SIGN REPLACEMENT

Tee Sign Replacement

In December 2021 all tee signs were replaced.

The tee signs appearing on each hole designate:

• the hole number
• the hole par
• hole distance for each tee setting (Black, Blue, Gold and Red tee markers)

The replacement signs feature the club logo and are equipped to accept club sponsorship signage. The signs are fabricated in metal. The installation of the new signs was overdue, with many of the old signs showing damage and discolouration.

Unfortunately the replacement process did see the disappearance of one piece of the club's history disappear with it. The first tee was named to honour the club's original course architect, Al Howard. The sign on this hole was named "Howards Way" in his honour. A picture of this sign was included in the Golden Anniversary publication - see the attachments in Item 2020.64.1.
