Overview

Red linen hard cover with silver and black lettering and design of oak leaves and acorns across lower edge. Illustration of royal residence in centre. Patterned end papers in beige. Frontis: Queen Victoria in later life. Inside first page is stamp of Albany No. 3 Girl Guide Co. and written in ink 'Presented to the Co. as part of library by Miss Andrews Oct. 1965. In the care of G. McGough (Captain). Title page has illustration of Windsor Castle in centre. 194 pages, illust., 14 pages of John F. Shaw & Co's Publications at back of book. On last page 194 is written in pencil 'Victoria died in 1901'.
