Overview

A story of Lomas and Sarah Toovey, Round Swamp, Tenterden, Western Australia 1850-1893. White card cover with black lettering and black & white photographs of Round Swamp-itself 1990, Tenterden, Western Australia, and to the left an enlargement of memorial plaque to Sarah Toovey. Inside front cover is pencil sketch of Lomas and Sarah Toovey's home, the Travellers'Rest Inn, as it was in the 1870's. Inside back cover is map of Tenterden showing land holdings in the early 20th Century. 221 pages, illust., black & white photographs, biographies, appendices, and bibliography. Last page is a chart of Toovey family from about 1770 Oxfordshire to Hertfordshire, and beyond to Western Australia. Page 23 has loose family records updated and picture to replace picture of Benjamin Toovey which is incorrect at time of print.
