Aerated Water Bottle

Overview

A translucent light blue circular bottle tapering to long narrow neck. The bottle has embossed lettering, a embossed circle and within the circle is a embossed diamond shape.

Historical information

Aerated water was made in the Katanning factory, one of the Piesse family enterprises. This bottle was dug up from the Katanning rubbish tip in 1990, and cleaned to the stage that is in now in 2006.

Inscriptions and markings

Embossed on the front above the diamond shape is "This Bottle is The Property of " and below is "BCD & PIESSE LTD. PERTH". Above the diamond shape is "REGD. TRADE MARK", in the centre of the diamond shape is "BCD" .

On the base of the bottle is embossed "K 36 P".
