Overview

A translucent light green bottle which has a horizontal fold front and back on the shoulder of the bottle. There are also two vertical folds front and back above the horizontal fold.

Historical information

Produced by the Piesse family. Many of these bottles were broken by children wanting the marble stopper. The bottle is quite heavy.

Inscriptions and markings

On the front of the bottle in the centre is embossed "F. & C. PIESSE". At the heel of the bottle is embossed "KATANNING" which curves upward at the beginning and end of the word.
