Overview

The image shows Mr Abrahams, Mayor of Subiaco delivering his address at the foundation stone ceremony for the Subiaco City Hall in November 1956. He is standing on a wooden stage with a small table in front of him speaking into a microphone. Behind him sit the members of the official party. There are many trees in the background. Written on the back of the photograph: 'Self, speaking at Laying of Foundation Stone Ceremony, November 1956.' Partner to P85_611 and 610. Subiaco City Hall is now the Subiaco Arts Centre.
