Broadcast Listeners Licence Receipt
1964A pale yellow piece of card which has been torn out from a booklet, it is a receipt for a Broadcast Listener's Licence. The renewal fee is 2.15 pounds. The signature of the issuing officer is handwritten in blue ink.
A legal requirement of owning a wireless (radio) was to have a 'Wireless Licence'. These were purchased a the Post Office annually.

All information regarding the licence number, person and their address is printed in black lettering "1964 17 May. 10/01557 MR M CULLEN 23 CLAUDE ST KATANNING"
There is a black stamp and in the outer circle is "KATANNING WA-AUST", and in the inner circle "15MY64".
