round white ceramic lid with black transfer decoration and text. Base of container is missing.

Historical information

An English chemist, Mr Grace Calvert came up with the idea in 1880 of using carbolic acid to clean teeth. It was very effective, but carbolic acid is also a caustic and poisonous substance.
This lid was found in the Greenough River to the north of the Convict Bridge on 17/06/2023.
