GENERAL MEETINGS 2010

One General Meeting was held in 2010.

This item includes the notice of meeting and agenda for this meeting that was sent to members along with a copy of the annual report.

The proceedings of the Annual General Meeting conducted on 25th March included:

• Receipt of the audited accounts for the past year along with questions from members.
• Receipt of the reports from all the Board members and General Manager were received with some discussion.
• Board positions, President, Vice President, Captain and Vice Captain were elected unopposed.
• Members of Management Committees were elected unopposed.
• The following Special Resolutions were considered:
• Constitutional amendments on responsibilities of the Board - Passed
• Constitutional amendment to have equal voting rights for Ordinary and Life members – Passed
• Constitutional amendment for the Board to include a Director of Lady Members – Passed
• Charges on Lady Members to cover trophies – Lost
• Various minor Constitutional amendments – Passed
• Constitutional amendment to allow 9 hole membership for those under 18 years of age – Lost
• Various items of General Business.
