GENERAL MEETINGS 2004

One General Meeting was held in 2004.

The 2004 Fees appear in the minute book.

A digital document dated 20th February 2004 detailing the proposed agenda for the Annual General Meeting was located and added to these minute records. This represents the Notice of meeting.

The proceedings of the Annual General Meeting conducted on 25th March included:

• Business Arising: The Membership Recognition Policy had been altered to exclude Board members.
• Presentations were made to Golf Professional Peter Milton (21 years of service) and Peter Yap (20 years of service).
• Receipt of the accounts for the past year.
• Receipt of the reports from all the Board members and General Manager with minimal interaction
• Appointments for the President, Vice President, Captain, Vice Captain, and Directors of House and Finance, all the sole nominees. An election occurred for the Director of Course.
• Appointments and elections for members of management committees.
• Four Special Resolutions: amendments to the Absentee Membership conditions, the way in which Special Resolutions were dealt with, allowing an officer of the Club to co-sign cheques, and wording related to membership transfers were all passed.
• A Special Resolution to admit Doug Byers to Life Membership was passed.
• A Motion to maximise course availability to members by restricting trade and corporate days was Lost.
• A Motion to restrict the rights of Board members to have preferential golf bookings was Lost.
• Amongst Other Business several members were presented with Certificates of Merit.
