Text accompanied by illustrations, drawings, sketches, prints and photographs. Preface written and signed by H V Chauvel.
Centre foldout features a sketch of the Battle for Richon Le Zion and Battle of Beersheba, and after the Battle of Bir El Abed
Book recording the campaign in Palestine written mostly by soldiers in the field.

The book was sent by Trooper P G White to Mrs E White of Strawberry Hill, Albany. Trooper White was a member of the 10th Light Horse Regiment (26th Reinforcement/ANZAC Mounted Division) and served in the Middle east from 1916, returning to Australia in 1919.
